My name is Stacey and I am the owner of Dandy Candy Events. I started my business in March 2016 when I bought my very first sweet cart after having this crazy idea to try something new. I decided to set up a sweet cart business and since then we have gone from strength to strength.

F.A.Q

What is a PIPA test?

PIPA is an inspection scheme set up by the inflatable play industry to ensure that inflatable play equipment conforms to recognised safety standards. PIPA is short for the ‘Professional Inflatable Play Association'.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) require that all work equipment, including inflatable play, must be inspected at suitable intervals. In the inflatable play industry this is deemed to be once a year.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA) and subsequent regulations require all inflatable play equipment 'that is designed to be used by a member of the public for entertainment purposes either as a slide or for bouncing upon” to be tested by a competent person, usually a PIPA, ADIPS inspector or the Manufacturer of the product.

Are you fully insured and PIPA approved?

Absolutely! Our PIPA test certificates and insurance documents can be found on the documents section of this website.

How long is the hire period for?

The hire period of our items is decided on each individual basis.

- Sweet carts can be hired overnight if collection has been arranged with the venue for the following day.
- Inflatables/Didi Cars can be hired for several hours at a time as we only hire out one set up per day.

Do we cater for all dietary requirements?

We pride ourselves on being as inclusive as possible and with this in mind, we cater for all dietary intolerances and preferences. This includes vegetarian, vegan, sugar free and halal.
